Synopsis
15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration – a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

There can’t be any Drama better than this one. Awesome cast, awesome and emotional play, Erika Sawajiri is just beyond human acting in this drama. As the title says, you will cry, no matter what person you are, at least 1 liter of tears.
This is a must-watch for every single dorama-fan in this world.
Highly recommended and never to be beaten by any other drama.

  2. Martelli says:

thanks a lot, Ive heard so much about this drama…cant wait to watch it!

  3. Armablakken says:

I first decided to see this because of the fact i thought it would be “alright”. Well, a bucket full later and it has become one of the best JDramas i have ever seen. It’s nice to see something you think is going to just be “alright” and have it turn out to be something so incredibly genuine and moving.

If you haven’t already, SEE IT!!!

  4. quintesson says:

if the storyline is pluck from the sky i wouldn’t be sad but when i knew this is real life story i couldn’t help but tears flowing in my heart especially when it show the real Aya photos. i also like the photos taken during each episode at the end it’s so sentimental.

  5. ChrisKun says:

  8. souldew says:

This is the best drama ever. IF i were to rate this awesome drama out of 10, I’d give a 100 coz it’s 10 times better than what just is a best. A must watch for people who like emotional stuff in entertainment. Presentation, production, start, end, acting every thing felt like top-notch. I’d be a lucky person if i find a drama of same caliber and emotional-intensity any sooner. Because dramas like this comes in decades. Atleast ive never watched a drama like this before. Wonderful. Must watch..

Btw , acting and production is quite wonderful. And someone has added a spoiler in one of these comments, plz edit it

Amazing drama, one of the best and saddest… i have watched it 3 times now over a few years and it is still just as good as the 1st time… Erika’s best performance by far :)

  11. nomun says:

The part when Asou and Ikeuchi meets last time together in hospital and Asou reads her dairies and in the end she wrote thank you and slept. that part was god damn difficult i couldn’t stand and cried. It is so sad in her face you can see that she is actually really tired because of her illness and it felt like she knew that her time has come …

Greatest drama i have ever seen, i think it will be one of memories that i will remember when my time comes. Great Movie ……

One of the most sad j-dramas ever seen. one which shows a person with full of determination to live on. Simply taught us that we should cherish our life more and always continue to live no matter what happens. Simply the best drama. ^_^’
