i got problem downloading from the servers. any help? :(

  2. zara_ki says:

lol, u guys, dont compare this with the first version coz this remake is for the manga fans. theyre prolly the closest to the manga storyline. ;D

  3. jimmyhill says:

Not as good as the 2007 version but it’s still good; if you watch it with the intent of not liking it, you won’t like it. That being said, I didn’t get into this one until I watched the 2nd episode.

  4. FeelFine01 says:

Sorry, but this version sucks. The original Hana Kimi was the best Maki, Ikuta Toma, Oguri Shun and Namba-sempai. No one can replace them. <3

  5. haru_akira says:

This remake ruined the original drama… It’s such a disappointment :pinch: If you’re a Hana Kimi fan, do not watch this and watch the previous version instead. It’s so much better than this ripoff

  6. omphie says:

I’ve seen the original and I actually do like this version, too. I think this one is a little more serious and less comedic and the plot is presented in a different way.

What I don’t understand though is why the creators decided to make a remake so soon after the original.. it’s only been four years.

    This version is enjoyable. :)

    • nihonfan5000 says:

A blantant attempt to cash in on the success of the previous series. Four years in Japanese TV time is a long time ago for a drama series considering the shortness of the TV seasons. As you know, typical dramas are no longer than 12 episodes.

That said, I think they would have been better off doing a continuation with Season 2 with the same cast rather than a reboot/reimagination. At least they could have changed the names of the characters. How hard would that have been?

The ratings for 2011 Hana Kimi are in:

      Avg: 06.99%

      10.1% – 06.0% – 07.9% – 05.5% – 07.5% – 06.2% – 06.4% – 06.7% – 06.4% – 06.9% – 07.3%

Normally, networks in Japan aim at the 10% mark. At below this mark, they have a harder time getting sponsors. Therefore, we can assume that the new Hana Kimi has flopped. 6.99% is poor.

Now let’s revisit Hana Kimi 2007′s ratings:

      Avg: 17.3%

      15.9% – 16.8% – 16.5% – 16.6% – 15.3% – 14.7% – 14.7% -17.5% – 18.2% – 17.8% – 19.5% – 21.0%

Given the failure of the new series, I doubt we’ll be seeing a S2 of the reimagined series.

  7. JohnyRocks says:

I just saw 10 minutes and I have to say that it was really different even the story, all the characters look the same and some of them are really ugly for an actor, in the 2007 version the girl Mizuki was really cute, even when disguised as a boy, but in this version I can’t even tell if it’s really a girl in disguise, maybe it’s really a boy, I see no point in seeing this version anymore.

  8. plamka says:

wow^^ this show is wonderful! I’ve just seen first three episodes and can’t wait for next ones!
in MY opinion this remake is much better than Hana Kimi ’07.
even if I enjoyed the ‘old’ actors, those here are also great and very natural. furthermore, I think that the plot is presented in a better way.
    just my subjective impression^^
    thank you <3

  9. vickykruth says:

Hmm, just by seeing the poster you can tell this remake sucks.

  10. i started watching this and i couldn`t last the whole thing, i watched only 15 minutes and i already feel sorry that i will never get them back, to all the cast in the new one they completely lack charisma, in the old ones even the extras that appear only seconds are memorable, this version is a waste of money and time

  11. nicehomey says:

what is this??? seriously… no offense, but this version is the worst!! the very first hana kimi was a way better…

  12. alilia says:

TNX guys .Now :cheerful: I’m going to watch the first version

  13. ad84 says:

arh…disappointed..the least they could do is create a new characters instead of remake the previous character…

  14. twiglet31 says:

I don’t know why they re made this the original is so much better no one can replace Ikuta Toma he was just brilliant in his role.

  15. marj says:

this is totally a mess !! no one can replace a great actors like maki and nakatsu and oguri shun !! OMG did they really think that this version would be better than the original !! stupid actors!-,-

  16. nuitoo says:

just looking from the poster, it didn’t raise my interest to watch it..unlike the origin..huuu..love nanba senpai, hiro-kun..n yess nobody can be nakatsu but ikuta toma!!

  17. NanaChan says:

omg! whats this? the production from 2007 is much better then this stuff! the actors don’t fit at all. I couldn’t watch the full period because it was so bad and the story doesn’t really fit with the original…….

  18. This is nowhere near as good as the original. I’ve only watched the first ep but I can’t watch anymore.
Too many of the actors have a physical likeness/similarity to their predecessor.
And let’s face it, nobody can be Nakatsu but Ikuta Toma! IMHO. ;)

  19. silg says:

    I don’t think so.
the script, some of cast, even broadcast slot time totally wrong.

most failure is they changed the heroine from actress (maki) to an idol (atsuko).

  20. Zweihander11 says:

Any comments? I wonder if this remake is as good as the one that was aired 4 years ago…
