Synopsis
One day, Taichi, an ordinary university student meets Mioka, a girl who is like a storm. Taichi finds himself drawn to Mioka, who lives freely as she wishes without holding back, and they eventually fall in love. However, Mioka tells Taichi of her shocking truth. She has an incurable brain disease, with no medicine or treatment that can help her.
The progressing disease.
The loss of control over her own body.
The precious memories slowly fading away.
The fear of losing herself.
The limited time she has left.
Even with such a cruel fate, Mioka lives her life to the fullest extent till the end. Taichi, wholeheartedly loving her, decides to become the witness of her very existence in this world.

Well, there are a lot of tv shows in Japan and I think the topic diversity is even quite big. For example in other countries, almost every tv show is about some crime department.
But this one actually feels indeed very very unoriginal. But I only watched the first episode and not even that completely, so maybe it goes it’s own way at some point…
I agree with you. What I like about asian dramas is that there is a lot of diversity in themes and are shorter than Latin American dramas (which 95% have a happy ending and all perfect)…
I also agree aydrian! Haha a lot of dramas are where the main character has a disease….

Seriously, what is up with the Japanese and their fascination with creating tv shows like this? It seems like every year they create a tv show where someone has some incurable disease and the entire storyline involves watching them slowly die.
