Thank you
@drabble: Hmm apparently you don’t watch enough jdramas? As Aki has already highlighted, there are actually guys like Kamenashi Kazuya who wears their hair like that in the drama Nobuta wo Produce, as well as some other male actors in their respective drama roles. Below is a picture I found with some other male actors with their own ‘country bumpkin’ hairstyle, but from what I understand it’s perfectly normal for japanese people to do this at home occasionally, even I do that at home sometimes while having meals and I’m a guy myself (as I have a long hair-do style and the country I reside in actually is hot and humid mostly throughout the year).
As far as girls are concerned, from what I can remember from the back of my memory, Ayase Haruka in her role as Hotaru in Hotaru no Hikari S1 and S2 also does this as well.

On the top left pic, why does she wear her hair like that?
Never seen any girl with that hairdo before *cringe*
Kamenashi Kazuya wore his hair that way in Nobuta wo Produce.
